Installing Windows 10 via Rufus
Installing Windows 10 from a downloaded ISO file is a straightforward process that requires minimal technical expertise. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you through the installation process using Rufus, a popular tool for creating and managing bootable USB drives.
Hardware Requirements:
Before we begin, make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements to install Windows 10:
- A 64-bit processor (x86-64)
- 4 GB RAM
- A 64 GB or larger hard drive with enough space to install Windows 10
Software Requirements:
- Rufus (download from [https://www.rufus.eu](https://www.rufus.eu) and follow the installation instructions)
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Prepare Your USB Drive: Insert a blank, bootable USB drive into your computer. If you want to create one from scratch, go to Rufus and select “Create Bootable USB Drive” as shown below.

* Click on the “Create Bootable USB Drive” button.
* Select the USB drive you want to use (default is /dev/sdb).
* Choose a file location for your Windows 10 ISO file.
* Upload your ISO file.
- Open Rufus and Select Your USB Drive:
* Launch Rufus on your computer and select the blank USB drive as shown below.

* Select the ISO file you uploaded earlier.

- Format Your USB Drive:
Once your partition is created, follow these steps:
